On November 19th, Minister Quinn, Ontario’s Minister of Colleges and Universities, was accompanied by Mitacs (mitacs.ca), on a visit to Larus Technologies to witness firsthand the great innovations at Larus and the importance of organizations like Mitacs in bringing AI/ML technology solutions to market.
Larus Technologies is currently hosting two Mitacs interns, and the program has proven invaluable to the company’s R&D efforts, particularly in AI, ML and Big Data Analytics. The interns have played a crucial role in accelerating our research output, directly contributing to the advancement of our technology and improving business outcomes.
Beyond their immediate contributions, Mitacs has also been an excellent talent pipeline for Larus. Many of Larus’ former Mitacs interns have transitioned into full-time roles upon graduation, underscoring the program’s effectiveness in helping the company to identify and recruit highly skilled individuals.
