October 1, 2008 -- Gail DiCintio, VP Operations Larus Technologies and Dianne Wing, Publisher Ottawa Magazine and Where Magazine are the volunteer Co-Chairs for the 15th Annual Y Women of Distinction Awards. The work these awards celebrate is directly linked to the core values of the National Capital Region YMCA-YWCA which is to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities. In our 15th year, these awards celebrate the visionaries of the past, the courageous women who change the way we live today, and the young women who will shape our tomorrow. Nominations are now open for the 15th Annual Y Women of Distinction Awards. Until noon on November 28, we encourage you to nominate a woman who inspires in one of our 10 categories: The Y Women of Distinction Awards will take place on June 1, 2009 at the National Arts Centre.
