March 2010 -- Larus Technologies publishes the white paper "Personnel Detection Technology". The white paper presents the drawbacks of the current technology-based solutions and how Larus plans to alleviate them. A replacement technology is introduced to the current trip wire-based techniques while a system-of-systems solution is presented to the larger problem of Territorial Security.

November 2008 -- Larus Technologies and GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms publish the white paper "21st Century Territorial Security: a sensor networking approach". This joint initiative aims to apply sensor networking and data fusion solutions to the multifaceted problem of territorial security.

October 1, 2008 -- Gail DiCintio, VP Operations Larus Technologies and Dianne Wing, Publisher Ottawa Magazine and Where Magazine are the volunteer Co-Chairs for the 15th Annual Y Women of Distinction Awards. The work these awards celebrate is directly linked to the core values of the National Capital Region YMCA-YWCA which is to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities. In our 15th year, these awards celebrate the visionaries of the past, the courageous women who change the way we live today, and the young women who will shape our tomorrow. January 2008 -- Dr. Emil Petriu, University Research Chair, Professor and Director of SITE at the University of Ottawa, is named Senior Scientific Advisor at Larus Technologies. Dr. Denzil Doyle, Chairman, Doyletech Corporation is named Senior Business Advisor at Larus Technologies.
