LISA Networking Interoperability

The University of Ottawa's Real-Time and Embedded Software Design course within the Software Engineering department (SEG 4140) uses a custom configuration of the LISA Networking product. With LISA Networking, interfacing to multiple sensor modules is simple and effective with plug-and-play capability on our custom-designed circuit boards. The use of LISANet modules greatly simplifies the use of new sensors and actuators by allowing the students to concentrate on the robotics and not have to write new code for every new module. This saves time for the instructors and students and facilitates more complex robotic development without the hassle of writing low-level interface code.
